Assignments for the week of 9/16 to 9/30, 2011.
English 4 [Block 1]
- Begin working on lessons 5 & 6 in your vocabulary books - exercises 1, 2, & 4. They must be completed by Thursday (9/29) with an assessment on Friday (9/30).
- Make sure you have your Tablet PCs charged.
- Work on assignments completing "Book 1 up to ll. 125 and begin reading/outlining in your textbook.
- There will be an assessment on all the background notes, from the Sumerian & Hebrew sections as well as the readings from class on the following works: Gilgamesh, "Genesis" and "The Book of Ruth". The date will be Tuesday the 27.
- We will be picking up on Book 1 of The Iliad.
- Don't forget your retreat on Wednesday.
- Thursday & Friday we will be working on College Essays after vocab work is completed.
